Batman is set to get a new horror-themed status quo
The Batman Fear State storyline plans to throw the Dark Knight and his allies into a horror-themed status quo, thanks to the Scarecrow.
Batman and his allies are set to enter a hellish new status quo in 2022 with a DC event titled State of fear.
DC has released covers and details on State of fear, which will stem from the events of DC Future State and Infinite Frontier. State of fear follows Scarecrow as he continues his quest to control Gotham City through fear, as Mayor Christopher Nakano launches a groundbreaking deal with the magistrate to protect Gotham. The prelude to State of fear starts in August on several Batman-themed titles.
I am batman Issue 1 goes on sale August 10 from writer John Ridley and artist Travel Foreman. Picking up after the events of The Next Batman: Second Son, I am batman sees Jace Fox donning Batman’s armor to fight off the Magistrate and protect Gotham Alley.
Catwoman Ram V and artist Fernando Blanco # 34 goes on sale August 17. Selina Kyle struggles to protect Alleytown from the magistrate’s forces and various villains. Things are only complicated by the appearance of Batman – especially when the duo agreed to give themselves a year-long hiatus.
Harley quinn The # 6 goes on sale August 24, from Stephanie Phillips and artist Laura Braga. Harley and Catwoman join forces to oust Magistrate from Alleytown, leading to Harley’s trademark of chaos.
To finish, Batman: State of Fear Alpha The # 1 will go on sale August 31 from Batman writer James Tynion IV and artist Riccardo Federici. The issue features the Dark Knight fighting the Scarecrow and the Magistrate, with things made worse by the return of Poison Ivy. Batman The n ° 112-117 will also decorate the events of State of fear, with six connecting covers by Jorge Molina.
