Three Left is delighted with this opportunity to present new music for their upcoming CD which will be titled simply “III”.
Formed in 2006 between two groups of brothers, Three Left, formerly Chronic Detour, began writing and playing music to begin their musical journey. After years of cutting their teeth, with a few line-up changes, in 2015 the band wrote their first CD simply titled Three Left. The songs “Stand Up” and “Beating around the Bush” have received numerous awards, recognitions and radio broadcasts locally, such as 95.1 WIIL and throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, as well as nationally and across Europe, in addition to a Late Night NHL Live License with James Corden and WWE.
The 2018 follow-up CD “The Calling” is a modern take on Three Left’s aggressive metal roots. The first single from the new CD, “Whiskey Bent And Hellbound”, received excellent reviews from radio stations around the world such as Europe, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Australia , Russia, as well as performing on select FM stations. The band completed the first leg of # thecallingonyoutour2018 in which they did seven dates from late March 2018 to mid-April 2018. Minnesota, Ohio, Nashville, Fort Worth, Texas, Jackson, Tenn, Chicago and back to Wisconsin for a summer tour of the shows they perform every year!
Some exciting news, the band’s song, “Release The Beast” from The Calling Cd was used in a motion picture in June 2019 titled “Skin”! Their music has also been used in various ESPN sports programs as well as other songs used in NXT UK wrestling videos as well as the Netflix show Working Mom’s! , Seasons After and Shaman’s Harvest to name a few.
The band have made some changes since the last CD and added Corey Schmidt on guitar and Jeremy Nelson on drums in addition to Ron Hardcastle on bass and Rich Czebotar on guitar and vocals. The new focus is a double guitar attack with harmonies while sounding more progressive on drums, while retaining the low end rumble of the bass. The previews of the new music have been described as “Hellyeah meets Metallica with aspects of Parkway Drive and maybe Gojira” mixing the band’s old style but pushing into a modern sound with new music coming soon this fall.
