CEDAR FALLS — Local postal worker and Marshall County resident Dean Messerly will be one of the featured vocalists in an upcoming musical production at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center on the University of Northern Iowa campus in Cedar Falls. The Gallagher Bluedorn has partnered with the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony, UNI School of Music, Waterloo Community Playhouse and Cedar Falls Community Theater to present the popular musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat’.

The Gallagher Bluedorn is one of Iowa’s premier performance venues with a seating capacity of approximately 1,700. It hosts world-class artists from all over the world. This musical production is designed to showcase local Iowa talent.

Messerly has performed in numerous musical productions with the Marshalltown Community Theater as well as other theater companies throughout Iowa and Wisconsin. He will sing the starring role of Jacob in this production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat.”
