Shruti Haasan: I want to share my truth and speak with ease

Chennai– Actress Shruti Haasan believes herself to be a public figure, she can easily be misunderstood. However, she hopes to continue speaking confidently, regardless of what people perceive her to be.
“I think we live in a time where there is a certain degree of negativity or easy judgment. I realized that I wanted to share my truth and speak with ease no matter what. Those who want to get the good out of it will do it, and those who twist it will always twist it, ”she told IANS.
The actress, known for her love of Goth, recently launched the #McKenziesmakeupchallenge, in association with American singer and actress McKenzie Westmore. The subject of the challenge is Beautiful Gothic Make up. Shruti judges the challenge, where she invites artists from across the country to showcase their creative gothic looks.
“The Goth look is my all time favorite. The Mckenzies challenge is a really enjoyable and innovative platform and I’m happy to be a part of it, ”she says.
Speaking of the contributions she has received so far, she says, “There are a lot of people who don’t know much about the subculture, who are intrigued. Most of the time it has been a lot of fun and positive. “
The gothic look has yet to be accepted as part of pop culture in the Indian glamor industry. However, Shruti believes that while a certain look is an extension of his personality, people ultimately feel drawn to him.
“I think whatever the look, if it’s an authentic extension of your interests and your personality, people are drawn to it even though it’s not a style they’re used to,” says -it.
The actress will announce the winner of the challenge on Wednesday.
Shruti will soon be seen in the Prabhas-star “Salaar”, which is shot in Kannada and Telugu, and will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. (IANS)
